9. Not a Safety or Compliance Tool
MaintenanceVault is a record-keeping and tracking tool only. It does not perform, certify, or guarantee the safety, airworthiness, roadworthiness, or compliance of any vehicle, equipment, or property tracked within the application. MaintenanceVault does not determine whether an item should be repaired or replaced. Decisions regarding repair, replacement, retirement, or continued use of any tracked item are solely the responsibility of the user. Users must independently consult and follow the applicable manufacturer specifications, OEM guidelines, and any federal, state, local, or industry-specific safety regulations governing the item in question, including but not limited to items where repair is not a permitted or safe alternative to replacement (e.g., safety harnesses after fall arrest, tires below legal tread depth, or components beyond manufacturer-certified tolerances). Donkey Jaw Services LLC assumes no liability for injury, death, property damage, or loss resulting from a user's decision to repair, replace, defer maintenance on, or continue using any item tracked through MaintenanceVault.
